Carmine Mowbray, who is with the Recreational Aviation Foundation, sent in this photo, taken at her favorite airfield, Meadow Creek (0S1) in the Flathead National Forest in Montana, with her 1960 C-182 with the Sportsman STOL, VGs and 3-bladed prop. “Bring your bear spray and enjoy the primitive facilities for a quiet backcountry experience,” she advises.
