Come on Kevin, that isn’t “backcountry” it is “front country” farmland. Power poles, buildings and groomed fields fill the scene. It is beautiful, rural and a wonderful place to fly, but you’ve been to some serious backcountry destinations and that’s not what’s shown here. In the terrain shown, emergency landing sites abound. Most backcountry locations only have a few viable landing sites that are separated by mountainous terrain, heavy stands of timber and no buildings or cell towers. Still, anything that gets more Pilot’s to venture away from their local paved runway and favorite hamburger joint is a good thing. Keep flying and sharing the images of your adventures but strive for accurate descriptions of your exploits.
