The FAA is now hosting 18 camera sites in Maine on its Weather Camera website, with plans to add more sites through 2023.

Registration is now open for a variety of educational, inspirational, and fun half-day Summer Camps exploring everything aviation and space for grades K-12 at the San Diego Air & Space Museum.
Five win Cascade Warbirds scholarships
For more than a decade Cascade Warbirds has teamed with several flight schools in the Puget Sound area to provide scholarship recipients with tuition, books, and supplies to complete private pilot ground school, and two introductory instructional flights. Successful completion of the Private Pilot Ground School will qualify a student to take the FAA Private Pilot Written Exam.

New aircraft mechanic school in the works for KCVG
Construction has begun on a new aircraft mechanic training facility at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (KCVG) that is expected to open in 2024.
Run to raise funds for aviation museum
The event is a fundraiser to support the Aviation Museum of N.H.’s youth education programs, which include an upcoming summer camp and a high school student plane-building project.

Airport Noise Classification System receives patent
“The technology helps solve a key question in the noise monitoring arena: ‘We have a sound, do we have an airplane?’” said Brad Juffer, the assistant director of terminal operations for the MAC and a co-inventor of the project. “No human or staff can efficiently decipher the thousands of inbound sound events that come through our system daily. With this classification system, we gain more reliable data to better understand overall trends impacting our airport neighbors.”
