Radiant Technology has introduced its Fuel Level Computer (FLC), which helps aircraft owners calibrate irregular or circular fuel tanks, “providing a linear fuel level from a fuel tank that is in no way linear,” according to company officials.

Once a propeller’s speed drops below the range at which start locks engage, feathering is not possible. “The resulting windmilling and parasitic drag are almost invariably followed by loss of control with fatal consequences,” NTSB officials said.
