AvSales Talent has partnered with Texarkana College in Texas to introduce a new training initiative aimed at developing professional business aviation sales people.
The Aviation Professional Sales Certificate Program is designed to provide a structured pathway into aviation sales — an area of the industry that historically has had limited formal training options compared with operational roles such as pilots, maintenance technicians, or dispatchers, according to company officials.
Delivered through Texarkana College, the six-week program combines self-paced coursework with weekly live instruction and mentorship. The curriculum focuses on the fundamentals of business aviation transactions and modern sales practices, including high-net-worth client engagement, aviation market fundamentals, and deal structuring, officials explained.
Participants who complete the program will earn a certificate. Some may pursue opportunities with participating aviation companies, providing direct exposure to aviation sales while building professional networks within the industry, company officials said.
Texarkana College has been expanding its aviation workforce initiatives in recent years, including programs supporting pilot training and other aviation career pathways.
