Jet Aviation has launched initial operations at its new FBO at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport (KOPF) in Florida.
The new facility is Jet Aviation’s 12th FBO in the US, joining a global network of some 30 FBOs worldwide.
The company broke ground on the new facility in October 2024, with full completion scheduled for mid-2026. Initial operations launched Nov. 10, 2025, include a 540,000-square-foot ramp, two new taxiway connections into the airport system, fueling with Jet-A, 100LL, and sustainable aviation fuel, and drive-on access to the ramp via a private entrance, according to company officials.
Upon completion next year, the newly built facility will also feature an 8,500-square-foot FBO building with a private entrance on the west side of the airfield, electric vehicle charging systems, LED lighting and photovoltaic panels, on-site Customs and Border Protection, and 40,000 square feet of hangar space available for nightly transient parking, company officials added.
