SNOHOMISH, Washington — Harvey Field will host a Community Appreciation Day Aug. 10, 2024.
“This event is to show our appreciation to the Snohomish Community,” organizers noted.
The event kicks off at 7 a.m. with a pancake breakfast from Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 84 in Hangar 15. Donations benefit aviation educational programs.
Other activities include:
- Airplane competitions, including spot landing and flour bombing contests
- Skydiving
- Evening Glow Show: A hot air balloon display at dusk
- A Kids Zone featuring fire trucks, bouncy castles, potato sack races, hula hoops, and yard games
- A Food Zone with local food trucks, including wood-fired pizza, hot dogs, burgers, tacos, and ice cream
- Live music by Ray Neyens, Kellie Rose, and Antwane Tyler
While admission is free, organizers are asking people to bring non-perishable food donations to support the Snohomish Community Food Bank.
