The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association is reporting that the FAA is expected to release its final rule on third class medical reform sometime in January 2017. However, the rule’s implementation date — when pilots will be able to fly under the new regulations — is not known at this time.

FAA will publish a completely non working rule on the very last day. Because they published a useless rule we will not be able to fly based on the FAA doing nothing in one year per the original law. FAA will do nothing but harm general aviation and show congress who really is in charge. Reform will be tied up in the courts for the next 20 years. FAA will be laughing at us stupid general aviation pilots the entire time. Just a guess.
