Westchester Aviation Association hires new executive director

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.  — The Westchester Aviation Association, which represents general aviation at Westchester County Airport, has named Brittany Davies as its new executive director.

brittany-daviesDavies has a background in business development, marketing and sales throughout her 15 years in business aviation. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aviation Technology from Metropolitan State University of Denver and is a multi-commercial rated pilot.

As a founding member of the Colorado Aviation Business Association, she helped grow the organization to over 400 members and gave away over $75,000 in scholarships since 2007.

She currently runs Windshift Consulting, her own aviation consulting company specializing in marketing and strategic planning. In addition, she serves on the NBAA Local and Regional Groups Committee representing the Northeast region.

    Well, congratulations, ms Davies, I need to check out your mechanic skills according to the BS. Can you change oil, check control surfaces balance, cylinder compression check, properly safety wire requirements, where would you find the proper nut torque values, etc,etc. APIA/IA.
