  1. Well, not to give my age away, but I remember flying my no-radio Luscombe 8A from Springfield, IL to Ravenswood Airport (was) in Chicago ….. and back to Sp’fld later that day. I will leave it up to the readers to wonder where the Ravenswood Airport was situated. Hint … it was ‘gobbled up’ by a much larger airport.
