I had seen this aircraft at my local airport for many years, always tied down and secured, but it would change orientation so I knew it was being flown. This aircraft became my ‘white whale’ with me vowing to see it airborne at some point in my life. Today was that day, while I was photographing an event at the Hiller Aviation Museum I could hear the run-up of an unfamiliar engine.
