“The FAA legal office has turned the definition of flight training upside down and this provision is only the first step in getting us back to where we were and where we need to be. Flight training is a safety issue and we don’t need anything that impacts that in a negative way,” said AOPA President Mark Baker.

Fort Worth FBO tops $170,000 in donations for flight scholarships
American Aero FTW, an FBO at Fort Worth Meacham International Airport (KFTW), recently presented the Navy SEAL Foundation with a check for $18,875, its 2022 donation to the foundation to fund flight scholarships for active duty and veteran U.S. Navy SEALs and Special Warfare Combat Crewmen.

USDA to update Wildlife Services fleet with CubCrafters XCub

NTSB releases preliminary report on fatal Dallas mid-air collision
The preliminary report notes there was no altitude deconflictions briefed before or during the flight. It also noted that the P-63’s avionics did not record any information from the accident flight.
