Coulson Aviation recently announced plans to place the air tanker Hawaii Mars in the British Columbia Aviation Museum (BCAM), not far from where the huge seaplanes flew, while Philippine Mars will go to the world-class Pima Air and Space Museum in Tucson, Arizona.

The Washington State Department of Archeology & Historic Preservation has placed the Naval Air Station Pasco Control Tower & Hangar on the Washington State Heritage Register.

Save the Sabre
The Fargo Air Museum has begun a fundraising campaign to “Save the Sabre,” an effort to preserve and honor North American F-86H Sabre #53-1253. The museum needs $60,000 to save the Sabre, according to officials.

The tornado hit a restoration hangar and ramp area of the museum. Damaged aircraft visible in the raw footage include a Douglas A-26 Invader, a Lockheed F-104 Starfighter, and a Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star.
