The Dragon PAV, which will be sold as a quick-build kit, has a 250-pound pilot capacity, can fly for 20 minutes, and recharge in less than two hours, according to company officials.

Javier Vera submitted this photo and note: “In March 2023, Sulphur Springs Municipal Airport (KSLR) in Texas hosted what is becoming one of the most popular fly-ins in the North Texas area: Airplanes & Coffee. On this occasion, more than 130 planes and hundreds of people came to enjoy coffee and donuts in the company of planes. One of these visitors was Kelly Mahon, who showed off his beautiful 1934 Monocoupe 90.”
Texas teen flying club on the move
Members of the Tango Thirty One Aero Clube flew from Texas to Florida for SUN ‘n FUN with a few missions: Learn all they could about successful teen flying clubs from the world’s biggest, the Lakeland Aero Club, as well as raise money for their own hangar.

Jay Wilkes submitted this photo and note: “This is a photo of my father Jack Wilkes and me taking a flight in a Thorp T-211 he bought at SUN ‘n FUN back in 2007. He had just turned 80 and was looking for a smaller plane to keep him flying. You can tell by his big smile this was a good day. He had a hangar and house at Freedom Field (AL41) in Slocomb, Alabama. Unfortunately he sold it not long after this was taken. He flew west in May 2014. We used to fly to air shows together, including EAA AirVenture Oshkosh and SUN ‘n FUN. I miss flying with him.”

EAA’s B-25 returns to the skies in 2023
EAA AVIATION CENTER, OSHKOSH, Wisconsin — The Experimental Aircraft Association’s B-25, the Berlin Express, returns to the skies in 2023, with plans to embark on a tour across the United States with stops already scheduled in eight states.
Swamp STOL Competition kicks off 2023 series
Cold light rain, experienced pilots, a variety of planes, and a lot of crawfish marked the first stop for the 2023 National STOL Series. The new season kicked off March 17 at the third annual Swamp STOL Competition & Fly-In held at Jennings Airport (3R7) in Louisiana.
