AirVenture pours $257 million into local economy

The benefit to the region and state is magnified as more than 70% of AirVenture’s visitors come from outside Wisconsin, bringing “new money” into the state and in some cases, into the U.S. overall as in 2024, visitors came from 94 countries, according to the study.

David Wade submitted this photo and note: “Every year before the Mooney Caravan into EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, Mooney pilots get together at regional clinics to practice formation flying and familiarize new pilots with formation flying. Flying together in formation accelerates the arrivals into Oshkosh and is less chaotic than the usual Fisk arrival.”

Warbirds in Review brings history and heroes to AirVenture

The twice-daily series of “up close and personal” stories will be held July 21-26 at the Warbirds in Review aircraft ramp, located within the EAA Warbirds of America area on the AirVenture grounds on Wittman Regional Airport (KOSH) in Wisconsin. The series is open to all attending AirVenture.

Cascade Warbirds host Fly Day and Party

During the Fly Day 10 pilots offered rides to members and special invited guests. It was a day filled with 32 flights, including two winners of the Cascade Warbirds scholarships.
