It took around 700 hours to build the EX3, which features a Garmin G3X and autopilot. It is powered by an experimental 363i Lycoming engine, which produces 186 hp.”
Six new pilots to receive their wings at Oshkosh
All six new pilots use wheelchairs, and include a veteran wounded in combat and another veteran who became disabled through an accident.

Happy accidents and gratifying outcomes
Of all the challenging landings I’ve greased, of all the long cross-countries I’ve accomplished without getting lost, and of the various in-flight challenges I’ve overcome safely, nothing compares to the satisfaction I get when a cluster of kids rebuilds an engine, then watches it run for the first time. And that’s to say nothing of the look on their faces when they exit the airplane after their first time at the controls.
Congressional hearing set on the state of general aviation
During the hearing of the aviation subcommittee of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, officials will discuss changes and trends in the different segments of the general aviation industry, including general aviation service, general aviation safety, ongoing sustainability efforts in general aviation, and general aviation manufacturing.
