The polyester/urethane hybrid topcoat can be applied as an overall topcoat or used as stripes, delivering a colorful finish in multiple gloss levels, including an option to clearcoat, according to company officials.

Air Plains introduces new airbox for Cessnas

Improvements for the new 172 PMA airboxes include the addition of structural adhesive reinforcements in areas of high stress, a hardened control arm with a thicker cross-section, and added nut plates to the front of the airbox to accommodate a Brackett air filter, if installed.

New prop certified for Cessna 414

Mobile charger for electric aircraft debuts

The charger is part of VoltAero’s strategy to create an infrastructure for its Cassio airplane family, which begins with the five-seat Cassio 330. The charger also will be offered for other electric aircraft, according to officials with VoltAero.

STC approved for new prop for Piper PA-23s
