Young Eagles rebounds after pandemic

A year-end review of the Young Eagles program reports that there have been 47,400 Young Eagles flights through November 2022, a big jump from the 8,000 flown in 2020 during the beginning of the pandemic.

Fort Worth FBO tops $170,000 in donations for flight scholarships

American Aero FTW, an FBO at Fort Worth Meacham International Airport (KFTW), recently presented the Navy SEAL Foundation with a check for $18,875, its 2022 donation to the foundation to fund flight scholarships for active duty and veteran U.S. Navy SEALs and Special Warfare Combat Crewmen.

The 12 Planes of Christmas

Each year, 12 aircraft from the Commemorative Air Force’s fleet are selected to be featured during the “12 Planes of Christmas” fundraising campaign. The airplanes selected for 2022 come from 12 different CAF units in eight states.
