SEATTLE — Every October around Halloween The Museum of Flight becomes the Museum of Fright for one chilling day. This year, the fun will take place Oct. 29.
It’s all in good fun for the entire family, treating everyone to live music, dance, and spooky tricks. Kids 17 and under wearing a costume will receive free admission for the day (costume discount not available online).
Special events will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and all are free with museum membership and included with general admission.
Activities
The Museum’s Art+Flight project becomes Art+Fright as the 8-Bit Brass Band sounds the Halloween horns with live music and cosplay. Visitors wanting a little color in their cheeks can sit for free face painting, and the kids are invited to the dance party under the sinister Blackbird spyplane, museum officials said.
There will also be two Mad Scientist booths offering hands-on science experiments, plus weird and lively demonstrations.
Halloween-themed episodes of Scooby-Doo will be playing all day in the museum’s theater, with family activities and spooky spots awaiting discovery in the galleries.
