Wipaire recently sold Federal Fluidyne Skis to F. Atlee Dodge in Anchorage, Alaska.
“This was a natural move for us as we have been supporting ski operations in the region,” said Justin Johnson, manager of F. Atlee Dodge Aircraft Services. “With this acquisition, we will handle all the technical inquiries, parts, and the associated paperwork for existing owners of Federal Fluidyne Skis and, moving forward, all new customers.”
Tooling, spares, and technical documents are being shipped from Wipaire to the F. Atlee Dodge facilities in Alaska, Wipaire officials noted.
“It was a tough decision to sell the ski line, but we feel this will allow us to sharpen our focus and resources on our float products,” explained Chuck Wiplinger, president and CEO of Wipaire.
