In October 2022, Wipaire delivered its 150th set of Wipline 13000 floats to Trans Maldivian Airways, the world’s largest seaplane operator.
Certified in 1992, the 13000 Wipline float was a game changer, allowing operators to carry more customers and extend their aircraft’s range, according to company officials.
“Achieving the milestone of delivering 150 sets of Wipline 13000 floats is validation of their durability and reliability, as well as the popularity of the Twin Otter airplane,” said Chuck Wiplinger, Wipaire’s president and CEO.
