WICHITA, Kansas — Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics has been named the authorized service center for BendixKing AeroCruze autopilots, including the AeroCruze 100/230 and xCruze 100/110, formerly known as TruTrak Vizion and Gemini.
The autopilot line, previously manufactured and supported by TruTrak Flight Systems, was acquired by Honeywell BendixKing in July 2019.
“As a BendixKing repair partner for more than 45 years, it was a natural fit for us to add the AeroCruze and xCruze to the lineup,” said David Copeland, vice president of sales for Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics.
AeroCruze 100/230 autopilots are designed for Cessna 172, 175, 177, 180, 182, 185, and Piper PA-28 and PA-32 aircraft.
They offer a seamless integration with the AeroVue Touch GPS/EFIS and a variety of other flight deck instruments, according to company officials.
The xCruze 100 and 110 autopilot systems are designed for experimental aircraft. They interface with the most commonly used experimental GPS/EFIS on the market, officials add.
