CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Flightstar Corporation has completed its newest facility, Hangar 10, at the University of Illinois-Willard Airport (KCMI).
The 31,000-square-foot maintenance hangar will serve as the primary facility of the Flightstar Airline Division.
With completion of this new facility, work now shifts to the refurbishment of the attached Hangar 3. This hangar will be primarily used for the daily maintenance operations of larger corporate aircraft and is scheduled to be operational by early spring of 2017.
These two structures combined account for a total of 52,000-square-feet of floor space, bringing Flightstar’s total hangar square footage to over 112,000.
