SocialFlight 5.1 has added community chat forums into SocialFlight.com and the SocialFlight Mobile App.
Topics include “Aircraft Ownership, Operation & Maintenance,” “Pilot Training, Safety & Technique,” “Headsets, Cameras & Pilot Products,” as well as “Travel, Clubs, Rentals & Community.”
General aviation companies including Jeppesen, Piper, Lightspeed, Bose, CamGuard, Aspen and FreeFlight will be participating as experts on the SocialFlight-moderated forums to answer questions about technology, training, products and more.
Recreational travel advice is also included, with the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism participating to help pilots learn more about island flying adventures.
Pilots and organizations can also share their own advice and experience in the forums on any number of topics.

SocialFlight members also receive a personalized Weekly Event Planner email that alerts them to upcoming aviation events in their local area so that they can plan ahead for their next flying adventure.
