BIG LAKE, ALASKA —Airforms‘ line of replacement engine baffles now includes components for Mooney M20B/C/D aircraft.
Airforms’ engineering department received a new PMA (Part Manufacturing Approval) recently through its work with the FAA Anchorage Aircraft Certification Office.
The new Mooney baffles add to an existing product line of near 60 FAA PMA engine baffle kits for a wide range of aircraft.
The replacement Mooney baffle kits are eligible for installation on all Mooney M20Bs, M20 Cs S/N 1702 through 2806, and M20Ds S/N 101 through 251.
Airforms’ baffles feature a bare metal or durable powder coat finish, and incorporate design reinforcements with longer lasting materials, and feature a range of seal options, according to company officials. All baffles are designed to be replacements for the original parts.
