FreeFlight’s certified ADS-B RANGR systems are now fully compatible with the ForeFlight Mobile app version 7.1 that was released last week.
With the software update, pilots can now view ADS-B In weather and traffic data from FreeFlight Systems’ RANGR series of ADS-B receivers via the ForeFlight Mobile app.
Compatible solutions include the RANGR Blue Box Receiver and Transceiver, and the RANGR Lite Transceiver, which will begin shipping this month, company officials report.
Current ForeFlight users simply need to update to version 7.1 or later in the Apple App Store to gain the capability to integrate with FreeFlight RANGR ADS-B transceivers and receivers, officials add.
