Frosting for Flight fundraiser set

By General Aviation News Staff · September 13, 2014 ·

OSHKOSH, Wis. — The Oshkosh chapter of Women in Aviation, International, is holding its fourth annual Frosting for Flight cupcake competition and cupcake sale to raise funds for its Spirit of Flight scholarship.

Cupcakes will be on sale for $1 each or six for $5.

Locals are encouraged to sign up to compete. Represent your company or organization at the fundraising event, or enter on your own. Form a one- or two-person team to bake and decorate a prize-winning cupcake.

Judging is based on taste, appearance, and theme. Contestants are encouraged to carry out a cupcake theme through costume/dress and table decorations. Prizes to the top three contestants will be awarded.

The event takes place on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 1-3 p.m. at the Wittman Regional Airport Terminal
Building. Admission is free. The event is open to the public.

Contact Linda Grady at 262-501-9362 or [email protected], or Rose Dorcey at 920-279-6029 or [email protected] for more information.
