MEXICO, Mo. — The Experimental Aircraft Association’s One Week Wonder is returning to its birthplace. The aircraft, a Zenith CH 750 Cruzer, which was built by volunteers in one week during AirVenture 2014, will be flown to the factory for Zenith’s Hangar Day on Sept. 20. Over 2,500 “builders” participated in the building program at Oshkosh, setting a record for the number of people involved in assembling a homebuilt aircraft kit.
The Hangar Day activities actually begin on Friday, Sept. 19 with forums, factory tours, demo flights and an informal dinner. The activities continue on Saturday.
