The board of directors of the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) has approved Flight Design and Sandel Avionics as the association’s newest members. GAMA now has 78 member companies worldwide.
Flight Design, GmbH is based in Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Germany, and is the manufacturer of the CTLS and the developer of the Flight Design C4. Since production of the high-technology, carbon-fiber CT was launched in 1997, more than 1,800 Flight Design airplanes have been delivered to customers throughout the world.
Sandel Avionics Inc., a terrain avoidance leader, engineers and manufactures avionics for rotorcraft and fixed-wing aircraft. It provides compact integrated display systems for the military, commercial and international markets, which include 3-ATI and 4-ATI retrofit primary displays, Class A & B fixed-wing TAWS and HeliTAWS, the helicopter industry’s only certified panel mount HTAWS that alerts against wires, terrain and obstacles.
