Twin Commander has partnered with Aircraft Belts, Inc. (ABI) to offer a three-point shoulder harness system.
ABI has been a leader in developing and manufacturing aircraft safety restraints for more than two decades, said Matt Isley, Twin Commander president. “They have also set a higher industry standard and that’s what we want for the Commander owners — the best in quality and safety,” he said.
The normal black seat belt webbing can be customized to suit individual tastes with hundreds of colors to choose from, company officials noted. Decorative plating of seat belt components and buckle engraving are available as well to truly customize the safety belt system.
Commander owners can purchase Custom Kit 170-3 (pilot) or Custom Kit 170-4 (co-pilot) shoulder harness structural assembly kits through their authorized Twin Commander Service Center.
