AURORA, Ore. — “Over the last five years we [Pacific Coast Avionics] have completed more than 80 panels for Glasair Sportsman customers in the Two-Weeks-To-Taxi Program,” said Dewey Conroy, Pacific Coast Avionics (PCA) vice president and chief operating officer.
PCA is the exclusive panel builder for the Two-Weeks-to-Taxi program, with a variety of options, but the latest panel includes two Advanced Flight Systems AF-5600 10″ EFIS, a Garmin GTN 750 GPS/NAV/COM, Garmin GTX 33 transponder and an SL-30.
The most recent example of a Glasair panel from Pacific Coast Avionics is a “first” in that it features the Advanced Flight Systems AF-5600 10″ EFIS, giving the panel true glass cockpit feel and functionality.
The equipment list for the panel includes dual Advanced Flight Systems AF-5600 EFIS screens with Engine Monitor, Advanced Flight Systems Autopilot, Garmin GTN-750 Touchscreen GPS/NAV/COM with remote mount GMA-35 Audio Panel, GTX-33 Mode S Transponder, controlled through the GTN-750 and SL-30 NAV/COM.
