Airwolf Aviation has opened a new flight training location in South Carolina’s Greenville Downtown Airport (GMU) main terminal building.
Airwolf Aviation was founded four years ago by Michele Rash, with Cyndy Hollman as chief flight instructor, and one airplane. Currently, Airwolf has a fleet of eight aircraft, five flight instructors and an aircraft sales/purchase assistance representative. The flight school offers training for a long list of pilot licenses and ratings, from private pilot through the advanced training required to become an airline pilot, according to company officials. These licenses may be earned through self-paced flight training or an accelerated curriculum, officials add.
Airwolf’s customers range in age from 10 to 86. Airwolf continues to open opportunities to young people through programs including Boy Scouts aviation merit badges, Young Eagle flights, ‘Give Them Wings’ high school student scholarships, youth summer camps and apprenticeships.
