Wilson Air Center opened its FBO at Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport (CHA) earlier this month.
The facility includes a newly built 9,000-square-foot executive terminal, an office complex, hangar facilities, ramp and self-serve fuel farm.
The new terminal includes a lobby complete with fireplace, integrated coffee bar, an executive conference room, and a business center. The facility also features a pilot’s lounge with two private snooze rooms, private shower for flight crews, and bicycles for pilot use.
A Grand Opening event held at the facility on August 11 brought out more than 250 Chattanooga community and business leaders from the area. The event featured a silent auction that raised nearly $11,000 for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and the 400 Chattanooga families who have undergone treatment there.
