Current worldwide navigation data is now available for all GRT Avionics EFIS products through Jeppesen, supplier of worldwide aviation navigation data.
While GRT Avionics’ customers in the US enjoyed regular updates to their EFIS navigation databases, customers outside the US had only limited, outdated data, according to company officials. Partnering with Jeppesen, GRT Avionics has developed the capability to load Jeppesen data into its EFIS products.
“This (data) integration is a major step for our international customers who would otherwise not have access to current navigation data and the cost to update is small compared to the added utility and capability it brings,” says Carlos Fernandez, Sales & Support, GRT Avionics.
GRT Avionics, a Grand Rapids Technologies, Inc. company, produces electronic flight information systems for light sport and experimental aircraft used in both, general and special-use applications.
