The Thomas Wathen Foundation has made a number of personnel changes, including electing Jerry Barto was a trustee. John Lyon was elected president of the foundation, while William Sawin has assumed the position of executive vice president and chief development officer.
Other administrative changes include promoting Kathy Rohm to Vice President, Director of Community Relations; Nina Durell was appointed as Foundation Administrator; Al Gester has become Aircraft Programs Manager; and Mary Peterson has assumed responsibilities as Curator of the Thomas W. Wathen Foundation Museum and Library.
“The Wathen Foundation is positioning itself for a substantial drive for funding and is preparing to launch at least a half-dozen new programs that will prove highly beneficial to the aviation community,” said Sawin.
