GRT Avionics has been named as the standard equipment electronic flight information system (EFIS) manufacturer for the new Falcon LS Light Sport Aircraft manufactured by Renegade Light Sport of Lees Summit, Mo.
The GRT Avionics Sport SX 6.5-inch display, GRT Avionics’ light sport aircraft EFIS, is capable of synthetic vision, synthetic approach with highway-in-the-sky (HITS), coupled autopilot commands, engine monitoring, full featured moving map with flight planning, and more, according to company officials.
The Falcon LS is a composite low-wing aircraft that utilizes the new Lycoming IO-233-LSA engine. Optionally, the Falcon LS can be equipped with dual 6.5 inch displays, single or dual 8.4 inch display(s), whole-plane parachute and EFIS-integrated one or two axis autopilot.
