AOPA introduces Lifestyle Collection

By Janice Wood · November 17, 2010 ·

For years, members of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) have supported the association, not only with their dues, but by using and buying AOPA Member Services and Products such as the AOPA credit card, car rental discounts, and travel services through Orbitz. Now AOPA is expanding these offerings and organizing them into the AOPA Lifestyles Collection.

“The AOPA Lifestyles Collection lets our members live their lives the way they want to, buying the things they need and enjoy while supporting GA at the same time,” said AOPA President and CEO Craig Fuller. “For every purchase made, a percentage of the sale will be returned back to AOPA and reinvested to fund our mission of maintaining the freedom, safety, and affordability of general aviation. Additionally, members will benefit through special money saving offers and discounts.”

The AOPA Lifestyles Collection includes well-known companies in the Sports and Leisure, Travel, Food and Beverage, Housewares, Technology, and Personal categories.

The Sports & Leisure collection includes deals and offers from companies such as Amazon.com, Bass Pro Shops, and Fan’s Edge. In addition to AOPA’s longstanding relationship with Orbitz.com, Hertz, Alamo, Enterprise and Avis, the Travel collection will also include hotel discounts and travel opportunities. The Food amd Beverage collection has offerings from Starbucks, Restaurant.com, and the AOPA Wine Club, brought to you by Wines for Good. Technology includes the Microsoft Store Amazon.com’s wide offerings of DVDs, computers, and other electronic merchandise. The Personal Shopping collection includes Lifelock personal information security service, Men’s Wearhouse and the AOPA Store, where members can by AOPA-branded products.
