The Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum in McMinnville, Ore., is hosting a Girl Scout Day on Saturday, Nov. 13, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Girl Scouts who wear a piece of their uniform will get a discount on admission that day. They will have an opportunity to see the biggest wooden airplane ever built, the fastest jet in the world, and even a simulated rocket launch. They will also have the opportunity to catch a 3D movie in the IMAX theater, home to the largest screen in the Northwest at seven stories wide and six stories tall. The museum will provide crafts and activities Girl Scouts can take and complete at home.
One museum visit is $8 for a Girl Scout or an adult, with an additional $3 for an IMAX movie. Two-museum visit is $15 for a Girl Scout or an adult, with an additional $2 for an IMAX movie.
