American Flyers Flight School will open a new branch office on the west side of Chicago Executive Airport (PWK), Nov. 1.
The new facility features 1,300 square feet of classrooms, testing facilities and flight training devices. It will cater to pilots preparing for their private pilot and instrument rating FAA knowledge tests. Additionally, weekend classes for the renewal of Flight Instructor certificates will be available.
In addition to classroom instruction, several flight training devices will be on-site for individual instruction and programmed learning using the Flying Professor’s Courseware, according to company officials.
American Flyers operates a full-service flight school at West Chicago’s DuPage Airport and seven additional FAA-approved schools throughout the country, and one in Mexico City, Mexico.
