Ross Aviation adds to its FBO network

By Janice Wood · October 19, 2010 ·

Ross Aviation has acquired the assets of the FBO formerly operated by Ronson Aviation, Inc. at Trenton Mercer Airport in West Trenton, New Jersey. For the time being, the FBO will continue to operate as Ronson Aviation.

This acquisition extends the Ross Aviation family of FBOs into the Northeast and broadens the company’s reach to 14 locations stretching from Alaska to Florida and from Hawaii to New Jersey. The other Ross Aviation FBOs are Denver AirCenter at BJC, Scottsdale AirCenter at SDL, Santa Fe AirCenter at SAF, Corporate Aircraft at FAT, Great Circle Flight Services at ANC, Miami Executive Aviation at OPF, Laredo Aero Center at LRD and Bradley Pacific Aviation at six locations in Hawaii (HNL, KOA, OGG, LIH, ITO and LNY).

Ronson Aviation is a full service FBO engaged in aircraft fueling, hangar and office rental, aircraft maintenance, and avionics sales, installation and service. It offers 72,000 square feet of hangar and office space and 24/7 operations, as well as 6,000-foot runway, ILS and on-site US Customs.

Ross Aviation has re-hired all of the Ronson Aviation employees, including general manager, Wolcott Blair. Greg Ross added, “While we are primarily attracted by markets and opportunities, once again we have succeeded in acquiring exceptionally strong local management. We are impressed with Mr. Blair’s understanding of the industry, the market, the business, its customers and his employees. We are confident that Wolcott and his team will excel in providing great FBO services.”
