Don Abbott, founder and president of the new American Air Campers Association, recently presented a donation in the amount of $5,000 to the Paradise Coast (Florida) chapter of The Ninety-Nines, Inc, International Organization of Women Pilots.
American Air Campers Association (AACA) is a new association founded by Abbott to promote, protect and preserve the combined freedoms of flying and camping in America. The association works in harmony with The Ninety-Nines, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), Recreational Aviation Foundation (RAF) and other organizations that mirror similar goals.
According to Abbott, “The Ninety-Nines represent the best of aviation’s history. The courage and leadership these women have shared with the world and the inspiring example they have set for young women in aviation will continue to influence generations to come.”
