Seminars set for PilotMall.com Open House

By Janice Wood · November 15, 2009 ·

PilotMall.com Inc.’s fourth annual Open House & Fly-In, slated for Saturday, Dec. 5, at the company’s new retail location at Florida’s Lakeland Linder Regional Airport (LAL), will feature several  high-profile speakers, including Dr. Ian Blair Fries (Senior FAA Aviation Medical Examiner), Bruce Landsberg (AOPA Air Safety Foundation), Jim Julius (owner of SportPlanesFlorida.com), Amy Laboda (editor of Aviation for Women Magazine) and Tom Gilmore (CFI and owner of Gilmore Aviation Services).

Seminar topics include “Successful Aviation Medical Examinations,” “Overwater Flight,” and “It is possible to get an instrument rating in an LSA?”

“We are working hard to make this Open House & Fly-In the best yet,” said PilotMall.com President Neil Glazer. “This year’s event features accomplished guest speakers and topics that are important to our industry. We are holding storewide sales and free admission to help those with even the tightest budgets.”
