An editorial in The Wichita Eagle notes that President Obama and Congress need to stop bad-mouthing business jets.
“They’ve done too much damage already,” the editorial states.
The Wichita City Council approved a resolution this week recognizing how business jets can be essential tools for successful companies. It also resolved to invite Obama to visit Wichita “for a firsthand view of our aircraft industry and (to) see the value of the thousands of jobs that support our local, state and national economy.”
“It’s crazy that such a resolution is needed,” the editorial continues.
