Jorgensen Air Service, a full-service FBO and flight school, has opened at Olympia Regional Airport (OLM) in Washington state.
Jorgensen Air offers 100LL/JetA fuel service, fixed wing and helicopter flight training, as well as ground school. Charter and scenic flights, aircraft maintenance and catering also are available. JAS is an authorized FAA chart agent.
Debbie and Gary Jorgensen, who also own Jorgensen Construction Co. in Pacific, Wash., purchased the old Gower Flying Service facilities at OLM and have begun a complete renovation of the premises. Interior spaces have been modernized to include a new conference room with audio/visual support, ground training classroom, weather briefing/flight planning station and a pilot’s lounge, the new owners report, adding the ramp has been repaved and a service road added to better accommodate delivery and service vehicles. Renovation of the building’s exterior is scheduled to begin in early spring.
New fuel trucks and courtesy vehicles have been added and the flight school soon will become a CATS (computer assisted testing service) testing site.
