Twin Cities Air Service at Auburn/Lewiston Municipal Airport (LEW) in Maine recently became an Avfuel-branded FBO.
Officials at the FBO report that plans are in the works to expand LEW’s runway from 5,000 to 6,000 feet, increasing capacity at the airport.
Twin Cities Air Service also is a Part 135 air carrier licensed to operate in the United States, Canada, Caribbean, Bermuda and Central America. In business since 1992, the company provides air charter service for passengers and freight, operating company-owned and managed aircraft equipped for all weather operations.
FBO services include preheating and a heated hangar, short notice and emergency maintenance, GPU, deicing, rental cars and pilot supplies.
With a new parallel taxiway and a new ramp area for parking, Twin Cities Air Service caters to aircraft of almost any size, according to FBO officials.
