Bisbee Airpark operators concerned about new residential development

The Sierra Vista (Ariz.) HeraldSIERRA VISTA – Cochise County aviators gathered Tuesday to share their thoughts and concerns with state officials regarding the development of new state airport policies.
The meeting, one of six that the Arizona Department of Transportation Aeronautics Division scheduled statewide, sought to gain insight from rural pilots as part of the planning period for a new State Airports System Plan, or SASP. “This SASP is going to be a real important tool for us to use, so it’s important that we get all of your input,” said Barclay Dick, director of the Arizona Department of Transportation Aeronautics Division.
