A new tool called Magnum Bender helps homebuilders with cutting and bending steel and aluminum plate. It can grasp and bend metal parts up to 1/8-inch thick x 6-inches wide.
It features the Universal Tooling Plate system, which incorporates slots for a clamping kit, or a row of five ultra high strength rare earth magnets that will permit even small steel components to be positioned accurately. The magnets also allow for fine tuning of part position prior to bending. An optional 24-piece clamp kit is also available.
The Standard Magnum Bender sells for $1,065.
