RMS Technology has just added Snap, a new feature now available in Flitesoft, its popular flight planning software program. Snap makes it easy to carry Flitesoft on a USB flash drive for use on any Windows computer.
A 2 GB USB flash drive will hold Flitesoft, all your saved aircraft and route files, your pilot data, every low and high enroute chart (US 48 states), and every approach plate (US 50 states).
Program operation is exactly the same as at your home base and is almost as fast, RMS officials say. The computer used to operate Flitesoft Snap is unchanged by Flitesoft Snap.
