To improve TIG welding performance on precision applications and limited-access joints, Weldcraft introduces its patented WP-50 air-cooled torch — the smallest TIG torch on the market.
The WP-50 is rated at 60% duty cycle up to 50 amps and offers pen-like control in tight quarters and on paper-thin material. Applications for the WP-50 include precision work in the aircraft and aerospace industries, artistic metalworking, and any welding application dealing with extremely thin base metals.
The WP-50’s torch head is only 5/8-inch long and 3/8 inch in diameter. Available with 70° and/or 180° head configurations, the WP-50 is extremely maneuverable even in the tightest of spaces. The entire torch is only 8-1/2-inch long and 3/4-inch in diameter at its widest point.
