Elliott Aviation and BLR have joined forces to offer an affordable solution for King Air 200 series owners seeking to maximize the performance and value of their aircraft.
The two companies will offer a base price installation of Elliott’s RVSM solution and BLR’s Winglet System on King Air 200 series aircraft for a package price of $133,000. This package enables King Air 200 owners to take full advantage of RVSM airspace, climb to altitude faster, increase cruise speed and save fuel.
The BLR Winglet System is an aluminum wing extension, carbon fiber winglet and integrated position, recognition and strobe lighting, which increases the overall wingspan by 3 feet, 5 inches, providing an increase in wing aspect ratio and a reduction in induced drag. Flight tests have shown that the BLR Winglet System enables a climb rate increase in excess of 250 feet per minute, OEI climb increase of 130 feet per minute, an increased cruise speed of five knots and fuel savings of 3%.
Elliott Aviation recently received an STC for its RVSM solution, which includes all King Air B200, 300 and B300/350 series aircraft with existing Collins APS-65/H/J, Honeywell/Sperry SPZ-4000 and Bendix/King KFC-400 autopilots.
